Overview
Virtual Production Access is an innovative research project that explores the fusion of gaming engines and studio production to create high-quality composite videos. Using a green screen studio, a Black Magic Design Ursa Mini Pro camera, and Unreal Engine 5, the technical and creative processes behind virtual production were explored

Through detailed documentation, we tackled challenges in camera lens correction, color grading, and camera synchronization to blend virtual and real environments. Game design students contributed expertise in level design, virtual lighting, VFX, and visual scripting to bring immersive virtual worlds to life.

By experimenting with different techniques, we identified methods to synchronize virtual and physical elements for various production needs, providing a roadmap for others interested in researching and implementing virtual production technology.
